1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StudyGrill ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.

2. Service Description

StudyGrill provides AI-powered research and study tools including but not limited to: literature review generators, dissertation and thesis writers, flashcard generators, quiz creators, citation generators, essay graders, math solvers, and study planners. All AI-generated content is provided as educational assistance and should be treated as a first draft requiring human review.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create a StudyGrill account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use StudyGrill only for lawful, educational purposes. Prohibited uses include: submitting copyrighted material you do not have rights to process; using our tools in violation of your educational institution's academic integrity or honor code policies; attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse our AI systems; sharing paid account access with non-subscribers; and creating content that violates applicable laws.

5. Academic Integrity

StudyGrill tools are designed to assist with learning and research. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of AI-generated content complies with their institution's academic integrity policies. StudyGrill does not condone academic dishonesty. Submitting AI-generated content as entirely your own work without disclosure may violate your institution's policies.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. StudyGrill does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content. Always verify important information from authoritative sources before relying on it.

7. Subscription & Payment Terms

Free accounts include 5 trial uses. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided within 7 days of initial purchase if fewer than 5 paid generations have been used.

8. Intellectual Property

Content you upload to StudyGrill remains your intellectual property. StudyGrill retains all rights to the platform, its codebase, AI systems, design, and brand. AI-generated content based on your inputs may be used by you freely for educational purposes, subject to applicable copyright law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyGrill shall not be liable for: academic outcomes or grades; errors in AI-generated content; decisions made based on our tools; data loss due to circumstances beyond our control. Our maximum aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid to StudyGrill in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email. Continued use of StudyGrill after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
